COLORADO TRIP

We took a trip to LaJara Colorado this past May, home of Nikki's dad.  Her grandma, Uncle Mark, and Uncle Dave still live there.  We stayed at her Uncle Mark's house and the boys had a great time riding horses, shooting guns, feeding the chickens, learning to rope, riding the tractor, and visiting family.  We were able to see where "papa" went to school, the house he grew up in, and the farm he worked on.  We attended church and met some of his old friends.  It was a relaxing and enjoyable weekend.

We stopped at Treasure Falls on the west side of Wolf Creek Pass.

We stopped at Four Corners....Nikki in Utah, Brayden in Colorado, Taylor in New Mexico, and Parker in Arizona. 

The boys grew "bug eyes" from watching too many movies in the car!!

TAYLOR'S 9TH "MAGICAL" BIRTHDAY

Taylor's birthday began with the "birthday couch".  He woke up to all of his favorite things and a few gifts sitting on the couch.  

We then took him to IHOP for breakfast

And at his party he was given a Magic Hat Cake

Of course for entertainment, Taylor provided a "magic show".

He did some tricks that many of the guests couldn't figure out.  For example, he asked each of us to write a word on a piece of paper.  All 8 of us did.  He then held the piece of paper to his forehead without reading it and repeated the word.  He was right on every one!!  He is a true magician.
